Props List

We used very few props throughout the film due to how our film didn’t rely on props to add to the mood or genre, however we did use some.

Mugs – We use mugs of tea to add a homely feel to the scene, as well as making it relatable to the British audience.  It also adds to the idea of really welcoming Kian instead of just giving him a place to rest for a while.

Blanket – Once Kian is brought back to the house he’s laid out on the sofa covered in a blanket to show vulnerability and sickness. It shows how he needs to be taken care of in this time, as well as Jarrod and Danni's hospitality, and that he isn’t in any state to be able to go home or fight, despite his claims and then going on to do it.

Gun – The main prop of the film, this is to show how serious Frank is as a character, while in the full film he will seem like a sidekick, in the opening he uses it to set the tone of the film as one that isn’t afraid to incorporate violence and will take aspects of crime and action films. It’s also used in the climax of our film as a way to build more tension, and adds much more shock value than if we were to use a knife or fists.
