Superhuman Sci Fi - Iconography
This superhuman movie will have a lot of mise en scene that will be different than the classic sci fi movie. There are icons that people will know well and can link it to a sci fi movie, while others stand out and may link to a different genre.
Because the movie is set in modern times, clothing will be
normal as we have normal characters that are mainly unemployed or don’t have
any jobs that stand out, so the clothes don’t have to be anything fancy in
order for the entire movie to stand out.
The props in the movie don’t look like
they should be in a movie like this as there are special pills, guns and
medical equipment, but they all play a significant importance in the plot of
the movie, and that it is the people and the actions the props do that makes
the movie apart of the science fiction genre.
The images will have a different feel to them as they will help show that some of the characters are not normal by having scenes in a special effect to make them look like a vision of the past or future, helping to portray the superhuman aspect of the movie.
Symbols
that can be used in the movie is the biohazard symbol to show that the medical
drugs are highly experimental and can cause damage to the person, but instead
gives the people superpowers which advances the plot of the story.
