Superhuman Sci Fi - Cinematography/Editing
In modern sci fi movies, the editing between scenes are very fast paced, as it helps to show the action taking place and also helps to create tension to what will happen after the sequence is over. Our movie has got a scene that has got a theme similar to it, as the future vision is a fast sequence that is suppose to create suspense as to what could potentially happen and how could the main character prevent it from happening. Also, when editing a sci fi movie, there is CGI and special effects that are added in to make it look out of this world while also making it unique, but our movie is low budget so effects such as lasers and people flying. However, we can add effects on clips to make it look unusual and making it look as if it isn't a normal dream.
The cinematography in sci fi films also have got long shots to help show the scenery of where the movie will be set and the atmosphere the viewer can be mesmerised at. However, our movie is not set in any special scenery as it is set in normal time and is not set in space or in the future to show how amazing it will be. Instead, it will ave more close up shots, because it is superhuman, so the camera will want to focus on certain aspects of the body in order to show what the power is and where it comes from, which will want to make the viewer become mesmerised by that.
