Question 5 - How did you attracts/address your audience?

The results of our questionnaire, which was handed out after the production of our film, makes it clear to see that we have reached the intended audience for our production. The questionnaire involved questions on the genre, age rating and overall narrative of the film, which helps to see the audiences full opinion on the film.

 We asked about what people believe our film should be age rated, based on the description of the first 5 minutes of our film, showing the key points of our film and its intended age rating. This lead to all the people we asked saying they thought it was a 15 rating, due to the scenes of murder, violence and connotations of drug use, allowing us to impact a more mature audience. This is the age rating that we were hoping to present to our audience, as it allows us to follow our intended plans more prosaically and to the original draft.    

We also had responses for our question, asking people to decide what genre of film they belied our project was, leaving us with some more varied responses. The highest response was that of a Sci - Fi film, with 3 out of the 10 people asked voting for it, which means that overall people believed our film was the genre we had intended for it. We wrote our script to incorporate the key features seen in this genre, that being the unknown and danger, which are both seen in our film. We also used visual effects on our 'vision' sequence to match the genre more accurately, as effects are often seen in these films.     

We had a mix of genders for who filed out our questionnaires, with the majority being female, meaning we wanted to accommodate both genders. This meant that we should have had a mixture of both male and female characters in the film, which we did, with our lead female character being quite powerful and courageous, showing a more modern women, as that is the time the film is set. 

When asking if people would watch our film again, the response was quite positive, with 90% saying yes. As well as the simple yes or no answer, we asked people how we could change and improve the film, with response such as "I enjoyed it, but the plot was a little confusing" and "The scenes could have been shot a little different", showing the positive look on the film mainly, while also having areas to improve on.
