Superhuman Sci Fi - Iconography

In many superhuman films, a symbol is often used to represent a character, as well as the beliefs and motivations they hold. In doing this, the character is not only recognisable on screen, but the film its self is also then much more known, as the simple symbol becomes associated with that character or film. For example, Superman's symbol is known all around the world, as it is both simple and used very often in association with his character, intern making him very well known. The symbols used have often got a back story to them, that shows a development with the character, like Batman's symbol, as he was afraid of bats as a child, but then uses his fear to bring fear to others. Or Superman's symbol, which means 'Hope' on his world, showing why he instils hope in others.
Our film will have a darker theme than these, as our movie revolves around drugs, and the repercussions of power, meaning we would use a bottle of pills, or a gun to represent our film, as it is a key point of the plot.
