Sci Fi Genre - Research - Conventional Title Sequences

The sci-fi genre doesn’t have a typical title sequence, and often relies on the other genre’s to help develop their idea for a title, however within the superhero genre, the titles very often rely on the iconography usually seen within the franchise, for example within the Captain America: Civil War title in which shadows are used to replicate the recognisable Hydra logo, as well as silhouettes of the main duo.

It can also be seen within the Deadpool title, in which it freezes time during the opening sequence and goes through the credits and characters, and contains the actual hero of the film, showing the iconography of his costume and colour scheme instantly, making him recognisable among the more generically dressed criminals.
